DII Does More – Our Mission
“DII Does More” is the humanitarian division of Diversified Insurance Industries Inc.; it is run and supported by the employees of DII.
This committee of employees was created in 2016 with the intent to help local organizations by volunteering and/or supporting them financially. We seek organizations that have some type of connection to DII employees, and use it as a platform to educate the office on the charity’s purpose and ways we can help support their cause. In the past few years, we have gotten creative in the way of raising funds in the office, such as basket raffles, office bingo, change wars between floors, gourmet cupcake and best chili cook-off competitions. At times, our efforts have been as simple as collecting canned goods for a local shelter or wrapping and delivering presents for the needy during the holidays. Other times, we have held fund raising opportunities in order to reach a financial goal for that particular organization. Lastly, whenever possible, we look for ways that our employees can volunteer for a charity, which we feel further demonstrates our commitment in supporting their worthy cause.
Our goals include supporting local charitable organizations, letting them know that DII is a company that cares about the people in our community and surrounding neighborhoods, and finding ways to help them. DII Does More fits seamlessly within the larger mission of DII: Building meaningful relationships, protecting what’s important, and serving when needed.
