REPORTS TO:

Dana Carroll, Executive Vice President

BASIC FUNCTION:

Develop and implement training programs for new and existing employees while ensuring the accuracy and quality of insurance policies, client documents, and office procedures.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Training & Quality Assurance Administrator with extensive knowledge of Applied Epic and commercial insurance. If you have a passion for training, quality control, and professional development, this role is for you!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Employee Training & Development: Evaluate skills, develop customized training programs, and mentor employees on insurance processes and Applied Epic.
  • Quality Control & Auditing: Implement audits for policies, certificates, and Epic functions to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR and DII University to develop educational programs and refresher courses.
  • Discrepancy Management: Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies in policies and client records while implementing proactive training solutions.
  • Training Materials Development: Design and update materials catering to various learning styles (visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic).
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and training methods to enhance the team’s efficiency.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years using Applied Epic with strong knowledge of commercial insurance (personal lines and benefits experience is a plus).
  • Licensing: Must hold a Maryland Property & Casualty license.
  • Office Presence: This is an in-office position requiring full-time presence.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
  • Training Expertise: Understanding of adult learning styles and training methodologies.
