Human Resources Generalist

REPORTS TO:

Human Resources Director

BASIC FUNCTION:

You will be responsible for HR functions such as compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, and recruitment.

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our award-winning team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR administration, compliance, and employee engagement, as well as a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting employees and ensuring HR processes run smoothly. You will work alongside the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Assistant.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, support, and renewals.
  • Act as a resource for employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Assist with onboarding to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Support leadership in workforce planning, employee development, and retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee engagement programs, training sessions, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have 4 years of HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist role.
  • You have experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing and interviewing.
  • You have strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and benefits administration.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus.
